Rohit Sharma pokes fun at Yuzvendra Chahal following India’s series win over Australia

A day after leading India’s successful chase against Australia to clinch the series in Bengaluru with his 29th ODI century, Rohit Sharma was in the mood of having some fun with his teammate and close friend Yuzvendra Chahal.

Rohit posted a photo of wrestler and actor Dwayne Johnson along with a shirtless picture of Chahal on Twitter, tagged the leg-spinner, and wrote: “Best picture I saw today. India wins the series but someone else takes the headlines. Bravo!!”

Chahal replied, saying, “The rock” along with a flurry of emojis.

For the uninitiated, “The Rock” was Dwayne Johnson’s ring name during his wrestling days.

Rohit Sharma on Chahal TV

Yuzi was back to his hosting duties at ‘Chahal TV’ after Shikhar Dhawan had taken over from him in the Rajkot ODI. Dhawan had jokingly said that Chahal had gone to fix his teeth. The wrist-spinner started by announcing his comeback on ‘Chahal TV’ and added that he has got his teeth fixed.

Chahal firstly asked Rohit about his six-hitting ability to which the 33-year-old replied, saying that six-hitting is not about sheer muscle power that a batsman possesses. For the Nagpur lad, it is the timing of the shot that matters all the more. It comes as no surprise as Rohit is considered to be one of the best timers of the ball in modern-day cricket.
