Australia’s new ‘run-machine’ Marnus Labuschagne has once again exhibited his sublime form. On the first day of the third Test against New Zealand at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), Labuschagne scored a magnificent hundred. The first ton of 2020 came from his bat.
During the 72nd over of Australia’s first innings, Colin de Grandhomme bowled a delivery that drifted towards the leg, and Labuschagne just tickled the ball, sending it to the boundary. As soon as he completed his ton, the entire SCG crowd exhilarated in joy. The right-hander took his helmet off, and Steve Smith embraced him with a hug.
