WATCH: Erin Holland hilariously warns fiancé Ben Cutting, “Play well in Perth or don’t come home”

During the 29th match of the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) at the Gabba, Brisbane Heat defeated Hobart Hurricanes by 5 wickets, thanks to the match-winning 60-run partnership between wicket-keeper batsman Jimmy Peirson and all-rounder Ben Cutting.

Chasing a 127-run target, Heat lost half their side for 71 and especially captain Chris Lynn (9) in the 11th over. While Peirson (23) played second fiddle in the partnership, it was Cutting who scored unbeaten 43 (29) with the help of three fours and as many sixes to seal the game in the penultimate over.

Speaking to his fiancéé and renowned TV presenter Erin Holland after the match, Cutting was involved in a hilarious conversation. Holland warned Cutting that she wants him to do well in Perth in Heat’s next game, and if that does not happen, he should not come home.

Holland said, “I wished you all the best before the match and good that you finally got amongst the runs, and I get an opportunity to talk to you. (chuckles) Thank you for listening to me,” Cutting laughs as he responds, “Thank you”.

Cutting added, “It was a tricky wicket, and credit should also be given to Jimmy Pierson. There were a few cracks, and the dew did not come in, which made things difficult for us. There was uneven bounce, but nice to get a win. This is our fourth win on the trot, and as we go to Perth, we would hope to continue the winning momentum.”

“I know how much you love traveling to Perth and how much you love your sleep. You won’t get a lot tonight, rest up and play well in Perth … or don’t come home,” Holland added while talking about her fiancé’s hectic schedule.
