During the second T20I of the three-match series between India and Sri Lanka in Indore, young Indian pacer Navdeep Saini bowled a pinpoint yorker to dismiss the Sri Lankan opening batsman Danushka Gunathilaka.
It all happened on the fourth delivery of the eighth over when Saini’s 147.5 kmph delivery was too fast to handle for the southpaw. Having played all-round the delivery, Gunathilaka had no option than to look at his stumps getting shattered.
The umpire was quick to check for the no-ball, but Saini was fine as India got the second wicket to mount more pressure on Sri Lanka.
Bumrah’s yorker’s got competition! 🤩

Earlier, Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to field first against Sri Lanka at the Holkar Stadium, Indore on Tuesday. The three-match series is now reduced to a two-match series given that the first T20I in Guwahati was washed out without a ball being bowled.
India went with the same combination as Guwahati. Jasprit Bumrah and Shikhar Dhawan returned to the sides after successfully recovering from their injuries. The visitors also kept their same playing XI.
