Bollywood diva Disha Patani, who has been ruling millions of hearts ever since her entry into the film industry, is clearly bowled over by Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s cricketing skills.

Disha made her Bollywood debut with MS Dhoni’s biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story,’ where she played the role of Mahi’s first girlfriend. The 27-year-old actress is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Malang. And during the recent media interaction at a promotional event, she was asked about her favorite cricketer.

While answering the question, Patani said: “If I had to pick a matchwinning player, it would be Jasprit Bumrah. He is one of the finest players we have.”

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah found his line and length back after two below-average outings with the ball against New Zealand in the recently concluded T20 International series on Sunday. Bumrah became the first bowler in T20I cricket to bowl seven maiden overs, going past Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Kulasekara, who had bowled six overs without conceding a run.

Bumrah set a new record with his impressive spell of three for 12 from four overs at the Bay Oval as India completed a historic whitewash over New Zealand, becoming the first team to register a series sweep in a bilateral five-match T20I series.

For his impressive outing with the ball, Jasprit Bumrah was adjudged the ‘Player of the match’.
