Veteran Australia all-rounder Daniel Christian, Australia women’s seamer Holly Ferling and Australian Rules football great Nick Riewoldt have become the latest additions to the squads for the Bushfire Cricket Bash at the SCG on Saturday, February 8.

Former Australia cricketers Ricky Ponting and Shane Warne will lead the teams that will feature a host of legendary cricketers, including India superstar Yuvraj Singh. The upcoming fundraising game is one of three headline acts on cricket’s day of giving, coined The Big Appeal, to be held after the Women’s T20 international between Australia and India and before the Big Bash League (BBL) Final.

The funds raised from this game will be donated to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.

Bowlers will not have over limits, and fielders can sub on and off as it suits, while captains will have the ability to sub batsmen in and out during an innings.
