Mumbai Indians (MI), the reigning champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), announced their schedule for the upcoming season on Sunday, February 16.
The Rohit Sharma-led MI will begin their IPL 2020 campaign against MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings at their home ground – Wankhede Stadium – on March 29. They will play their remaining home matches on April 5, April 15, April 20, April 28, May 1, and May 9.
MI’s first away game will be against the 2018 IPL finalists Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 1. They will play their remaining away matches on April 8, April 12, April 24, May 6, May 11 and May 17. Barring the second game (April 5), all the rest of their home matches will be played in the evening.

The match against RCB at the Chinnaswamy stadium on May 17 will also be the final fixture of the league stage of the tournament. This will be the third consecutive time that MI will be taking part in the last league game of IPL.
