Lee now becomes the second centurion in T20Is for South Africa. Former skipper Shandre Fritz was the first Proteas woman to reach a triple-figure back in 2010 against the Netherlands.

In the match, the Proteas lost their first wicket early in the form of Dane van Niekerk (2), but Lee and Sune Luus put on a show as the pair added a 131-run stand for the second wicket.
Luus remained unbeaten on 61 off 41 balls, while Lee got out after reaching 101. Then came Chloe Tyron, who slammed a quick-fire 11-ball 24 to help her team reach the highest team total in the Women’s T20 World Cup.
South Africa posted 195-3 in 20 overs and leapfrogged India’s score of 194-5 against New Zealand in 2018 at Providence Stadium in Guyana.
