NZ vs IND: Netizens left worried after BCCI shares the picture of Wellington pitch

After being white-washed in the One-Day International (ODI) series, Team India is prepared to face the challenge of red-ball cricket against New Zealand in the two-match Test series beginning from Friday (Feb 21) at Basin Reserve in Wellington.

The conditions of New Zealand naturally tend to help seamers. And to add to the worries of the batsmen, the pitch for the opening Test match left the seamers licking their lips with a green top, without anything but grass on it. By the appearance of it, one can say that it (pitch) could turn out to be an absolute nightmare for the batters.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a picture of the pitch via their official Twitter handle and captioned it: “A day out of the 1st Test, this is what the pitch at Basin Reserve looks like. Thoughts? #NZvIND”

After seeing the picture of the pitch, fans couldn’t resist themselves to register their opinions on the green top surface offered at Wellington. The absolute green-top left netizens worried and tensed.
