During the first T20I of the three-match series against South Africa, Australia pacer Mitchell Starc bowled a stunning delivery to dismiss the Proteas skipper Quinton de Kock.

It all happened on the third delivery of the first over when QDK looked clueless against a peach of a delivery from Starc.

Australia dismantled South Africa in Johannesburg T20I:

The Aussies posted a strong total of 196 runs on the board, with captain Aaron Finch (42) and Steve Smith (45) doing the bulk of the scoring. Later, Ashton Agar’s fireworks (20* off 9) took the tourists near to the 200-run mark.

South Africa’s struggle against the Australian bowling attack wasn’t hidden from anyone. Openers De Kock (2) and Rassie van der Dussen (6) were dismissed inside the first four overs.

Faf du Plessis did try to show some resolve, but he soon became the victim of Ashton Agar. His 24 from 22 was the highest a Protea batsman could manage, with Kagiso Rabada’s 22 the second best.

Brief scores: Australia 196/6 in 20 overs (Steven Smith 45, Aaron Finch 42; Dale Steyn 2-31, Tabraiz Shamsi 2-31) beat South Africa 89 in 14.3 overs (Faf du Plessis 24; Ashton Agar 5-24, Adam Zampa 2-9) by 107 runs.
