Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor has been on the receiving end of much trolling several times. This time around, the actress grabbed the attention of netizens when she expressed her opinion on the open-firing incident in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh.
One of the Twitter users posted a photo of Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and asked the actress what her dad was doing with him.
Replying to the post, Sonam first shared a report about the Shaheen Bagh firing and wrote, “This is something that I never imagined would happen in India. Stop this divisive dangerous politics. It fuels HATE. If you believe yourself to be a Hindu then understand that the religion is about Karma and dharma and this is not either of those.”

The Twitterati replied to Sonam’s comment with, “Aap bahut prakharta se apni aawaaz uthati hai. Kripya desh ko bataengi ki aatanki Dawood ke saath aapke pita ki tasveer ka sambandh unke karm se hai ya dharm se? (You raise your voice fiercely. Can you please tell your father is related to Dawood by his actions or by his religion?)”
Once again responding to the troll, Sonam wrote, “Cricket se hain. Indian cricket se.”
Cricket se hain. Indian cricket se.

She went a step ahead and this time spilled beans on the entire incident. “He went to a cricket match with Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor. And was in a box to see it. I think you need to stop pointing fingers and there are three that point back at you. I hope lord Ram can forgive you for being evil and spreading violence,” Sonam tweeted.
