The third and final T20I between South Africa and England in Centurion on Sunday saw an interruption when one of the climate activists dressed as popular superhero figure ‘Wonder Woman’ invaded the pitch to spread awareness about air quality and air pollution.

The incident happened during England’s 223-run chase, right after the dismissal of opening batsman Jason Roy in the second over.

The pitch invader, who was also wearing a white color mask, ran straight towards Quinton de Kock and after a quick chat with the South African skipper, she handed him a mask from the bag she was carrying.

Soon Dale Steyn, who didn’t have a great outing with the ball, also joined the conversation and shared a high-five with the intruder. He also got a mask from the ‘Wonder Woman’.

It was a series-deciding game and England clinched the trophy after winning the encounter by 5 wickets. Chasing 223, captain Eoin Morgan scored an unbeaten 57 off just 22 deliveries, taking his team over the line.

The second-wicket partnership of 91 runs between Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow set the tone for the visitors.
