England’s marquee all-rounder Ben Stokes has shared his daily routine during his staycation at home due to the COVID-19 lockdown in the UK.
The deadly virus is on a killing spree at the moment in Europe, shifting its epicentre from China. Therefore, all prominent sporting events such as the Premier League, Serie A and several cricket tours have been suspended indefinitely.
Some have therefore used their social media accounts to interact with their fans, answering their queries through the opinions.
But the recently appointed OBE by the Royal Family, Stokes, shared his daily routine throughout the day.
Stokes tagged his wife Clarey in the post with the caption, “Keeping our kids up to date with school work and physical activities whilst school’s are closed. Hope this helps any parents who feel a bit stuck with what to do through these tough times.”
The champion English all-rounder was scheduled to feature against Sri Lanka. Later, he was slated to join the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL), before all cricket action was suspended.
Stokes helped England win their maiden ODI World Cup title with his prolific performance with the bat in the finals. The 27-year old followed it up with a memorable run chase in the Headingley Test of the Ashes series.
Many prominent sporting personalities such as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have also used their colossal following to spread awareness regarding the pandemic.
