Brad Hogg names his favourite Pakistan bowler; picks one between Babar Azam and KL Rahul

The Covid-19 has put everything on the globe to a standstill. No cricketing event is taking place currently and due to which many cricketers are trying different things to pass the time.

In this process, former Australian spinner Brad Hogg ran a Question and Answer session on Twitter, in which he interacted with many fans and replied to their queries.

A fan asked the 49-year-old cricketer as to who is his favourite Pakistani bowler. The ‘Chinaman’ picked Shaheen Afridi as his choice. He also added leg-spinner, Yasir Shah, into a ‘special’ spot.

With his consistent performances, Shaheen has become a household name in Pakistan and has cemented his spot in the national team. The left-arm pacer has taken 86 wickets from 39 matches across all formats for his side.

During the 2019 World Cup, Shaheen etched his name in record books as he became the youngest bowler to pick a five-wicket haul in the World Cup. The left-armer did this against Bangladesh when he finished with figures of 6/35. The 19-year-old ended the tournament as the second-highest wicket-taker for Pakistan behind Mohammad Amir, with 15 scalps.

In another question, a fan asked the veteran spinner to choose the best player amongst Babar Azam and KL Rahul. Hogg took Babar’s name while responding to the query.

Rahul has played 110 international games till now, in which he has clubbed 4,706 runs, while Babar has scored 6,680 runs in 138 matches overall.
