David Warner shaves his head in support of COVID-19 workers; nominates Virat Kohli among the eight

Australia star cricketer David Warner on Tuesday shaved his head in support of all the health workers and other emergency personnel who are fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic across the globe.

After shaving his head, the 33-year-old opener nominated his Australia teammates Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, Adam Zampa, Marcus Stoinis, Joe Burns, India captain Virat Kohli and two others – Piers Morgan and Travis Smyth – to do the same.

Sharing a time-lapse video of him trimming down all his hair, Warner wrote on Instagram, “Been nominated to shave my head in support of those working on the frontline #Covid-19 here is a time-lapse. I think my debut was the last time I recall I’ve done this. Like it or not.”

Virat recently had a haircut from his wife Anushka

Moreover, Virat Kohli also had a haircut from his actress wife Anushka Sharma recently and he had shared the video of it on his social media handles as well. Both Warner and Kohli gel along well together and are good friends off the field and all eyes will be on the latter now to see if he saves his head in respect to the frontline workers.
