Harmanpreet Kaur names her favourite IPL team; reveals her cricketing idol

Amid coronavirus fear, the whole world has gone on standstill. Various authorities and governments have asked people to stay at home to stop the Covid-19 outbreak. Many cricketers are also living in self-isolation and inspiring their fans to follow the same. In the process, they are using the time to talk with fans.

On Thursday, Indian women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur ran a Q/A session and interacted with her fans and followers. She answered many questions and reflected her views on several topics.

A fan asked the Indian women captain to name her favourite team in the popular Indian Premier League (IPL). The right-handed batter took the name of Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

In another question, a fan asked Harman to reveal her idol while she grew up and saw the dreams of becoming a cricketer.

“#AskHarman Who is Idol while growing up,” the fan asked.

The Punjabi cricketer responded to the question and revealed the name of destructive Indian men’s team opener Virender Sehwag.

Harman guided her team in the recently concluded women’s T20 World Cup final. It was the first occasion that the Indian women team qualified for the T20 World Cup.

The final contest took place between India and Australia at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, where the hosts defeated ‘Women in Blue’ and won the prestigious trophy.

Harman has played 99 ODIs and 114 T20Is, in which she has scored 2372 and 2186 runs, respectively.
