Here is South Africa’s revised squad for India ODIs after Janneman Malan’s addition

Right-handed opening batsman Janneman Malan has been included in South Africa’s squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against India, with the first game scheduled to be played in Dharamshala on March 12.

Malan was not part of the original 15-man Proteas group, but after his maiden century in the second ODI against Australia in Bloemfontein, has been added to the touring party.

South Africa’s initial squad which included Faf du Plessis, who returned to the ODI squad for the first time since the 2019 World Cup, having been rested for the home series against England and Australia. Left-arm spinner George Linde had earned his maiden ODI call-up, in place of first-choice spinner Tabraiz Shamsi, who was unavailable due to the birth of his first child.

The second game between Virat Kohli’s men and Quinton de Kock & Co. will be played in Lucknow on March 15 while Kolkata hosts the final ODI on March 18.
