IPL 2020: Salaries of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) players

The three-times champion of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings, have qualified for the playoffs in every season they played so far. CSK is the only team to win two back to back IPL trophies and came close to emulating their own record last year.

Once again, the Super Kings will be the strong contenders to lift the trophy in IPL 2020.

Ahead of the auction, the Chennai-based franchise released five of its players. On the auction day, they bought only four players – two Indians and two overseas.

Here are the key numbers for CSK after the IPL 2020 auction:

Overseas players: 8

Players bought in auction: 4 (Piyush Chawla, Josh Hazlewood, Sam Curran and R Sai Kishore)

Purse remaining: Rs 15 lakh
