In the wake of the Corona Virus outbreak, the sporting world is now in a standstill. With all major action being halted to curb the spread of the pandemic, cricketers are using social media to entertain themselves.

This layoff from the tight itinerary served as a boon for the Indian cricketers who had to feature for the South Africa ODI series. The Indian cricketing body, BCCI, called off the series between the two nations after the first match was abandoned due to rain.

India’s marquee all-rounder Hardik Pandya was all set to make his international comeback after firing at all cylinders in the recent DY Patil T20 tournament.

Instead, he was posing behind Shreyas Iyer, who intended to boast his expensive watch in an ‘Expectation vs Reality’ post. In reality, however, it was Pandya’s watch, which Iyer managed to click, making it look like arms, using angles.

Usual suspects Yuzvendra Chahal and KL Rahul the opportune moment to mock their colleagues in the Indian team, by commentating ‘Wash your Hands.’ Using a face mask in public gatherings, washing your hands regularly with hand-sanitizers are some of the essential tips in the fingers of one and all in the wake of this global crisis.

The return of Pandya into international cricket remained crucial for Mumbai Indians before their title defence in the thirteenth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Also, looking at India’s middle-order woes, the combination of Rahul, Iyer, and Pandya in the middle-order will bolster India’s expectation for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.

Question marks are looming in the conduct of the 2020 edition of IPL after it was announced that the event is suspended till April 15.
