Bhuvneshwar Kumar got married to his longtime friend Nupur Nagar in November 2017 and has been living with her happily ever since. The couple looks adorable together, and Nupur is always seen accompanying her husband on overseas tours.
Nupur recently appeared on a chat show ‘Spicy Pitch’ with Bhuvneshwar, where she talked about the ‘jealousy factor’ when the India pacer gets clicked with his female fans.
“When he clicks the picture, I keep telling him that what was the need to stand so close to her. Couldn’t you ask her to stand a little far? And then he says what I could do if they stand close to me.”
In a candid chat with host Manish Batavia, the couple talked about how they spend time at home and also pulled each other’s legs in front of the camera. The duo said they liked playing games together like ludo, carrom, and dumb charades; Nupur also talked about how Bhuvneshwar cheats in all the games.
Bhuvneshwar further revealed that Nupur had no idea about cricket so much so that she did not know the difference between replay and live. The pacer also shared an instance where she asked him what will he be making his career in after retiring from cricket.
The 30-year-old said that before taking the crease for batting, he prays to God not to get out early, or else Nupur will mock him at home.
Talking about her favorite spell of Bhuvi, Nupur said: “His debut against Pakistan. I was in the hostel then, and my friends did not have any idea about Bhuvi and me. So they were also very impressed with his bowling. While watching the match, they were saying ‘call that 15-number T-shirt guy for bowling’ and I was happy knowing that he was in demand.”
