Poonam Yadav reveals which team she would like to play for in women’s IPL

Amid Covid-19 outbreak, cricketers are trying to engage themselves in various activities to pass the time as there is no cricket tournament or series taking place at present.

Recently, many players took to Twitter to interact with their fans. Indian women cricketer Poonam Yadav also joined the list as she ran a ‘Question and Answer’ session where she responded to a lot of queries.

A fan asked Poonam her favourite team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) if women’s league takes place in the future.

The leg-spinner reacted to the question and said she wants to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) if given a chance in the women’s IPL.

“Given a chance, I would love to roll my arm over for @ChennaiIPL,” Poonam tweeted.

Another fan asked Poonam, who is her favourite leg-spinner in world cricket, to which the Indian leggie took the name of legendary Shane Warne.

In the recently concluded women’s T20 World Cup, Poonam performed outstandingly well and played a vital role in India’s journey to the finals. She ended the mega event at second place in most wickets list. The Agra-born spinner bagged 10 wickets in the tournament.
