India’s batting legend Sachin Tendulkar returned to the nets on Thursday as he gears up for the 2020 Road Safety World Series. Tendulkar will lead the India Legends in the five-nation tournament, which also includes Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan and Mohammad Kaif, among others.
Tendulkar charged down the track on practice nets to hit some of his trademark shots, and the fans are justifiably excited to see the Master Blaster back on the cricket pitch.
The 47-year-old recently played an over off the Australian women cricketers, Ellyse Perry and Anabelle Sutherland, during the Bushfire Cricket Bash in Melbourne.
Bollywood actress took to Twitter to share the video of Tendulkar practicing in the nets.
“What is that one thing that makes you happy, instantly? For me it’s watching @sachin_rt bat! Got lucky. Happened to be around when he was practising. If he just bats in the nets once a month, I’m sure it’ll bring a smile to millions of faces Grinning face with smiling eyes,” Kher captioned the video.

On most of the deliveries, Tendulkar stepped out of the crease to smash the ball over long-off, and also hit one straight over the bowler’s head. He even played a flick shot in the end.
Saiyami is a self-confessed cricket aficionado and even her Twitter bio mentions her love for Tendulkar. The former Kingfisher Calendar Girl, who made her Bollywood debut with Mirziya is obsessed with Tendulkar and dreams of playing the game of cricket with him. Her love for sport stems from the fact that she played badminton at the national level, and cricket in school and college.
