Steve Smith responds hilariously after a fan asks him, ‘Are you shadow batting?’

Australia’s batting genius Steve Smith recently leapfrogged his counterpart Virat Kohli to retain the number one spot in ICC Test Batting Rankings. There is no doubt that Smith loves batting, and he showed it during the 2019 Ashes held in England.

Smith was playing red-ball cricket for the first time since the ban imposed on him by Cricket Australia for an infamous ball-tampering scandal which took place in South Africa. The Sydney-born cricketer exhibited world-class performances and guided Australia to win the prestigious Ashes.

Smith accumulated 774 runs in just four games with a breathtaking average of 110.57. He smashed three hundreds and as many half-centuries with 211 being his highest score. This shows that the 30-year-old is mentally very tough, but there’s another thing which he’s good at ; it’s his sense of humor.

Smith proved it with a hilarious response while interacting with his fans on Instagram. The former Australian captain held a Question-Answer session on the social media platform. During which, one of his followers asked him: “Steve, are u shadow batting?”

In reply, the number one Test batsman hilariously posted a picture of himself with a bat and wrote, “Always.”
