Left-arm spinner Tabraiz Shamsi and his wife Khadija Shariff have been blessed with a baby boy, the South African cricketer announced on Saturday.
Shamsi took to social media to share the news with his fans and also posted a picture of the little one. His post read: “…and then there were 3. I cannot thank @markb46, @GraemeSmith49 and the rest of the Proteas team and management enough for being so amazing and supportive throughout the process leading up to the birth of our bundle of joy #BabyShamsi.”

Shamsi was recently part of the Proteas team which lost against Australia 1-2 in the three-match T20I series. Shamsi, however, pulled out of the ongoing ODI series vs Australia to be with his beloved wife after getting the news of her pregnancy.
“1 day old and straight on to it. He wants to see uncle @DavidMillerSA12 bowl #HeKnowsHisTeam #ProteaFire Fire,” tweeted Shamsi later in the day.
