Virender Sehwag reveals how he is spending his time during the lockdown

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced an absolute lockdown for 21 days in all parts of the country, looking at precautionary measures for combating COVID-19 pandemic.


The entire country has been brought to a standstill, with the government persuading the masses to stay indoors.

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag, recently in an interaction, opened up on his schedule during the 21-day lockdown period.


Sehwag revealed that his favourite pastime is spending time with family. Also, Sehwag has drawn interest in playing ludo, snakes and ladder, carrom, additionally while playing with his dogs and kids.

During Cricbuzz’s Strategic Timeout video blog, Sehwag urged the Indian public to act responsibly and avoid going outdoors.

When asked about the number of sanitizers Sehwag uses in his residence, the retired international gave a count as many as 12-13 sanitizers placed at all rooms in the house.


Later, he was asked about the highlights he would not watch again. The Nawab of Najafgarh named his two triple centuries and his double in ODI cricket as the innings he has been watching during the staycation.

The Sultan of Multan termed his knock during his Test debut as his favourite and ‘close to the heart’. Concluding, Sehwag named Ajay Jadeja and Zaheer Khan as his preferred lockdown partner due to their contrasting personalities. Sehwag tagged Jadeja as talkative and called Zaheer as analytical and reserved.
