In the wake of the coronavirus scare, the world has gone standstill. Sports have been hit severely throughout the globe. Many events, tournaments, and series have been cancelled. Various sports personalities have been sharing their videos/images of isolation in order to interact with their fans as well as inspire them to pursue social distancing.
Several cricketers have shared how they are indulging in different kinds of activities to keep themselves busy at home and also remain fit and fresh to take the cricket field as soon as the sporting action resumes post the virus scare.
Indian wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik recently shared tips on dealing with the coronavirus outbreak. He also revealed how he is using the free time at home. Karthik plays for Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and KKR shared a video of Karthik’s activity via its Twitter handle.
Karthik shared a few tips as to what one should do during self-isolation.
“As you can see, this is all I have been doing in the last two-three days. I really miss my sport, but I am trying to do everything to stay connected to the sport and trying to do everything that is part of the sport,” said Karthik.
“These are the three things that I have been doing in the last three days — social distancing (stay at least six feet away from everybody), wash your hands (sanitize them) and stay home and stay safe (as much as possible). Remember, it’s not just about taking care of ourselves; it’s also to take care of everyone around ourselves,” added the 34-year-old.

Apart from Karthik, India’s all-time great T20 player, Suresh Raina also shared a short video on Twitter in which the 33-year-old can be seen doing Surya Namaskar – a practice in yoga as exercise incorporating a sequence of some twelve gracefully linked asanas.
