The 2020 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has already had its fair share of comedy. The season continues to entertain with its unique incidents.
In the 23rd match of the tournament, hosts Lahore Qalandar took on Karachi Kings at the iconic Gadaffi Stadium. Winning the toss, the Qalandars put the visitors on to bat and witnessed Alex Hales’ 80 run knock to post a challenging score of 187 for the loss of five wickets.
Hales struck at a rate of 166, smashing six boundaries and five sixes in his 48-ball knock. He was well-supported by Jamaican wicket-keeper batsman, Chadwick Walton, who finished unbeaten on a 20-ball 45. His innings was laced with five maximums and a couple of hits to the rope.
However, while keeping during Qalandars’ chase, Walton hilariously grabbed Ben Dunk’s leg and never let go off him, much to the surprise of the Australian.

Ben Dunk’s heroics, where he was unfortunate to miss out on his much-deserved ton, finished the job for his side with unbeaten 99.
The Melbourne Star’s batsman hit a mammoth 12 sixes in his knock, coming off just 40 deliveries at a strike-rate of 247.
Later, it was a one-sided affair with Sohail Akhtar at the other end, who scored a well-compiled 68 off 46 deliveries.
The Lahore Qalandars cruised to an eight-wicket win to get their noses ahead of the Quetta Gladiators, who are now placed at the bottom of the table.
