The novel coronavirus which has been wreaking havoc across the world has also brought the sporting world to a standstill.
Sportspersons across the globe have been forced to find different ways to occupy themselves as all major sports events have either been cancelled or postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
West Indies star all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, who has also gained fame for his impressive singing skills, has come up with his new song titled ‘We not giving up’ on the Covid-19 pandemic.
The official Twitter handle of IPL franchise, Chennai Super Kings, has shared the video of their match-winner with the caption: “When I find myself in times of trouble #Champion Bravo comes to me, singing words of wisdom, We Not Giving Up! Music heals. #StayHomeStaySafe #COVID2019 @DJBravo47.”

In his song, Bravo has appealed to people to fight against coronavirus and stay safe by taking all necessary precautions like washing their hands regularly and staying at home to avoid direct contact with strangers.
Earlier, New Zealand wrist-spinner Ish Sodhi came up with a song, albeit a light-hearted attempt at describing his time in self-isolation.
“Coronavirus, please don’t get me today. Coronavirus, I still got cricket to play. I know what Covid-19 is, I am sick of hearing your name on my TV screen,” Sodhi’s song goes.
