Hanuma Vihari names the best captain in the world; also picks the top ODI opener

The deadly coronavirus pandemic has brought the entire world to a standstill. Due to which Indian cricketers have taken to various social media platforms to interact with fans as they are spending a 21-day in lockdown.

Cricketers like Shreyas Iyer, Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal have participated in activities on social media to engage with fans. Now, middle-order-batsman Hanuma Vihari has also joined the elite club. The Hyderabad cricketer ran a Q/A session on microblogging website Twitter where he answered many questions posted by his fans and followers.

During the session, a fan asked Vihari to name the best captain in the world.

The Kakinada-born smartly picked two best captains of Indian cricket. Vihari chose former skipper MS Dhoni and current captain Virat Kohli.

Another fan quizzed Vihari to pick the best opener in One-Day International cricket. The fan asked the 26-year-old to choose between Australia’s David Warner and Indian deputy Rohit Sharma.

Vihari responded to the question quickly and picked his countryman Rohit as the best opener in the 50-over format.

Vihari has so far played nine Test matches for Team India, in which he has clubbed 552 runs with an average of 36.80. He also has four half-centuries and one hundred to his name.
