The Coronavirus pandemic has put the entire world on a standstill. Most of the countries are facing lockdown to prevent themselves from the spread of COVID-19, and India isn’t different from the rest. The lockdown period in India has been extended to May 3.

In the meantime, cricketers are spending time at their homes and sharing the latest happenings or memories from the game on social media platforms. Recently, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan revealed many things when he parted in an Instagram live chat with Shreyas Iyer. Now, it’s the turn of veteran pacer Ishant Sharma.

Unlike Dhawan, Ishant was invited on a YouTube show of sports presenter Gaurav Kapur, where he disclosed a lot of things and shared how he is spending life at his home. During the chat, Gaurav asked Ishant to name a thing which he is missing in the lockdown.

The six feet-plus speedster responded to the question and said he is missing his wife the most as she is currently at her home.

“Right now, I’m recovering from my injury, and currently there is a training camp going on at my house. I sleep, I eat, I train and then I again go to sleep. I’m missing my wife the most who is staying at her home,” said Ishant.

The 31-year-old paceman was supposed to join Delhi Capitals (DC) for the IPL 2020, but the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) postponed the 13th season for an indefinite time. Ishant has so far played 97 Tests for Team India, in which he has taken 297 wickets – sixth-most by an Indian bowler and third most by an Indian seamer.
