India is arguably considered as one of the best fielding sides in the cricketing world and has produced some outstanding fielders in the last few decades.

Be it Eknath Solkar, Ajay Jadeja, Mohammad Azharuddin, Robin Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammed Kaif, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli or Manish Pandey all have been exceptional on the field. They have several times turned the result of the match with their agility on the ground.

However, Indian cricket might not have produced a fielder like South African legend Jonty Rhodes, but it could take pride in providing one of the modern best in Raina, Jadeja and Kohli.

Recently, former Australia wrist spinner Brad Hogg was asked to pick the best fielder Indian cricket has ever produced during his interaction with a fan on social media.

A Twitter user asked Hogg “which fielder would be in your choice the best that Indian cricket has ever produced – Ravindra Jadeja, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina or Virat Kohli?? #AskHoggy”

To which the Aussie replied: “All four are brilliant, would love to bowl having them all in the inner ring, but Jadeja for me. #hoggytime”.

Speaking to IANS, former India trainer Ramji Srinivasan had talked about how Jadeja loves doing a lot of running exercises and avoids lifting heavyweights.

“He doesn’t do weights at all. Look at his throws. He loves running and sprinting, and gym training is just basic. Jaddu is one of the best in the business, and you have your answers there. Again, it is not wrong to do heavy weight training, but one wrong movement and you are down with injuries,” he had pointed while discussing the importance to exercise as per body needs.
