Cricketers link-up with Bollywood actresses is very commonly seen days. Even though Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are right now termed as the ‘power couple’, there is much more to that.

There have been many other successful couples and sad breakups seen by cricket and entertainment fans. One of them is of rumoured couple Nidhhi Agerwal and KL Rahul. The Munna Michael actress was reported to be dating the Indian cricketer. But now, Rahul’s name is linked up with Suniel Shetty’s daughter and Bollywood diva Athiya Shetty.

Rumours were also there that Nidhi unfollowed KL on social media after knowing about the latter’s relationship with Athiya.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Nidhhi, however, clarified, “No, I am still following him. In fact, it was his birthday yesterday or day before. I am following him, and we are friends. He is a very good cricketer. He is a Bangalore boy and I am a Bangalore girl. I’ll always be very proud of him since I have known him for a very very long time. No, I have not unfollowed him. Everything is still the same.”

Nidhi also spoke about her relationship status. “I am single. I don’t even know where my phone is half of the day. I am busy, watching stuff and that’s okay. I am completely single, and I am very happy,” she added.

Meanwhile, Rahul and Athiya’s close friend has confirmed that the duo started dating each other in January. Through an Instagram post, Athiya also sort of made their relationship official on Rahul’s birthday. Athiya posted KL’s picture and wrote ‘My person’ with an added heart emoji.
