The quarantine period observed by people all around the globe has developed a new trend of registering their opinions on social media, amongst cricketers lately.
Australian spin wizard, Shane Warne has picked the greatest Indian XI across all formats. Warne made some exciting choices while naming the Indian XI. The legendary leg-spinner made his selections on the basis of the Indian cricketers he played with.
Warne placed Virender Sehwag at the opening slot along with Navjot Singh Siddhu, who once smashed him all around the ground in a Test match.
The Great Wall of Indian cricket, Rahul Dravid features at number three followed by the obvious choice of Sachin Tendulkar at number four.
Between the two choices from Hyderabad, VVS Laxman and Mohammed Azharuddin, Warne opted for the latter at number five in the lineup.
Warne named Sourav Ganguly as the skipper of the side, who has been one of the best captains for India. Amongst the spinners, Warne picked both Harbhajan Singh and Anil Kumble in the side.
The wicket-keeping duties were given to Nayan Mongia, while Kapil Dev was the finisher. Also, Dev shares the pace attack with Javagal Srinath. Thus, making it a formidable lineup.
