Former New Zealand bowler turned commentator, Simon Doull, recently selected the eleven cricketers he could watch the rest of his life.
ICC’s Twitter handle posted an interactive opinion-based question, “If you had to pick a team that you would watch for the rest of your life, what would it be?” and followed it up with 11 blank spaces for the names of the cricketer.

Doull, who is renowned for having one of the best analytical minds, was amongst the first few to respond to ICC’s engaging tweet.
The former Kiwi fast bowler picked three cricketers from his country in the lineup, namely, legends of the game Brendon McCullum, Martin Crowe and Richard Hadlee.
Also, Doull placed three West Indian greats in his XI with the likes of Brian Lara, Viv Richards and Malcolm Marshall.
Ian Botham and Wasim Akram are the two solitary cricketers from England and Pakistan, respectively, in Doull’s essential select.
Further, the only Indian player to feature in his eleven was Virender Sehwag. The two Australians in Doull’s XI of cricketers he could watch for life were Adam Gilchrist and Shane Warne.
Simon Doull’s best XI:
Virender Sehwag, Brendon McCullum, Martin Crowe, Brian Lara, Viv Richards, Ian Botham, Adam Gilchrist, Wasim Akram, Richard Hadlee, Shane Warne, Malcolm Marshall.
