The coronavirus pandemic has forced cricketers to sit at their homes and spend time with their family. In the meantime, they are engaging in different activities to pass the time. One such activity is interacting with fans on social media platforms.

Be it former or currently active players, everyone is trying to talk with fans and followers as most countries are facing a lockdown. Recently, India women T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur took to Twitter and engaged in a fun chat with her fans. Now, the incredibly talented Smriti Mandhana has also joined the club.

On Friday, Smriti ran a Question/Answer session on the microblogging website Twitter, where she responded to many queries asked by her fans.

A fan asked Smriti to name the toughest bowler she ever faced in international cricket.

Smriti replied to the question posted by her fan and took the name of South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp.

Marizanne has been a legendary bowler for South Africa. In 108 One-Day Internationals, she has picked a total of 123 wickets while in 78 T20 internationals she has scalped a total of 58 wickets.

Smriti used a smiling face with an open mouth and cold sweat emoji and said: “Has to be @kappie777 Always hard to get runs against her.”

Smriti has played 51 ODIs, and 75 T20Is for Team India, in which she has clubbed 2025 and 1716 runs, respectively.
