Amid the coronavirus pandemic that has brought the world to a standstill, lots of cricketers are spending time with family at their homes, including former Indian pacer Ashish Nehra.

The cricketer-turned-commentator found a unique way to engage with the family during the testing times on Wednesday.

Unlike other cricketers, Nehra resorted to football as he played it with his kids at home. His wife Rushma posted the video and captioned it, “You can’t make this stuff up ???????????? #nehraji nutmeg -d all 3 of us! #lockdownentertainment.”

It’s not the first time that clips of Nehra playing football have come out, he loves this game and had picked up an injury during his playing days due to it.

In the show ‘Breakfast With Champions’ hosted by Gaurav Kapur, Nehra had admitted that former Argentine star Diego Maradona was his all-time favourite player.

“I would love to play football with the team, but I have had so many injuries in the past, so I try to keep the football away from my schedule, ” Nehra had said.

Meanwhile, in the world, the number of COVID-19 cases has gone up to 8,59,395 with the death toll going up to 42,328.
