Two-time World Cup-winning Indian all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh, left a hilarious remark on coach Ravi Shastri’s recent celebratory post on the 9th anniversary of India’s win in 2011 ODI World Cup.
Interestingly, the present Head Coach of the Indian team, Shastri, was present in the commentary box, reciting his iconic, “Dhoni, finishes it off in style,” piece.
However, in his post, Shastri tagged Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar in his caption saying, “Many Congratulations Guys! Something you will cherish all your life. Just like we from the 1983 group #WorldCup2011 – @sachin_rt @imVkohli.”
Thanks senior ! U can tag me and mahi also we were also part of it 😂

Both MS Dhoni and Yuvraj were at the crease when India managed to lift back a World Cup title after a 28-long year wait.
“This did not go down well with the man of the tournament of the world cup, Yuvraj, as he retweeted, “Thanks senior! U can tag me and Mahi also we were also part of it.”

Shastri then left a note to Yuvi saying, “When it comes to World Cups, you are no Junior. Tussi Legend Ho.”

Yuvraj was also part of India’s triumph in the inaugural T20 World Cup in South Africa. However, it was pivotal contributions from Gautam Gambhir in both the finals which helped India in getting crowned.
Interestingly, both Gambhir and Yuvraj have not featured in any ODI World Cup since 2011. Despite impressive performances in the run to the 2017 Champions Trophy, Yuvraj was not considered in the 2019 ODI World Cup plans for India.
