In a recent interaction on Twitter, India’s wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal vented out his boredom during quarantine by going live on Instagram.
Chahal also included renowned singer Rahul Vaidya into the live session and touched upon the topic of good singers within the Indian team.
The wily leg-spinner spilt beans about the likes of Suresh Raina, Mohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya having decent singing voices.
“We have a few… (Suresh) Raina bhai sings really well. Then Mohit Sharma sings well. In the team, Hardik is also not bad. He is good,” Chahal revealed on Instagram.
With the deadly COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, all sporting actions have been suspended. People from all over the globe have been locking themselves up to prevent the infection from spreading.
“We have had so much talk on coronavirus. So I thought why not listen to some music and talk about music,” Chahal said.
Recently, during Rohit Sharma’s interaction with Kevin Pietersen, the former talked about the likes of Chahal being itchy to go outside.
Further, into the discussion, Chahal admitted that he was bereft of winning spells in international cricket, despite bowling well.
“I bowled decently, but I am missing a winning spell for long,” Chahal said. “I am getting 2-3 wickets, but I want a winning spell, and that is missing,” concluded Chahal.
