The Indian cricketers are engaging in different activities on various social media platforms to pass the time as they are forced to stay at their respective homes because the country is currently facing a lockdown amid Coronavirus pandemic.

Cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, Virat Kohli are few names who were seen on social media platforms interacting with fellow cricketers and fans. However, there is another cricketer who has continuously been active ever since the cricketing events got cancelled. He is none other than the quality leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

From Twitter to TikTok, and Instagram to YouTube, fans have seen Chahal everywhere. In the process, recently Chahal revealed the name of Indian cricketer with whom he won’t want to spend the time in lockdown.

While talking to TV presenter Jatin Sapru, Chahal disclosed that he doesn’t want to spend time during lockdown with India’s frontline pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Chahal came up with a weird reason for taking Bumrah’s name.

“Bolta hi nahi h kuch. Uska yorker maarne ka man hua aur usne lota maar diya to kya karunga main (Bumrah does not speak much and what if he throws a utensil at me if he feels like bowling a yorker, what would I do then),” said the leggie.

Chahal further added that once lockdown is over, he will go to the ground and start bowling as he is missing his cricket a lot.

“I am going to ground; I really want to bowl. When there is a lot of cricket to play we say ‘there is so much going on’, but we start missing it when there is no action. I miss bowling; I am what I am because of cricket only. I will surely go and bowl at least a ball on the day lockdown gets over.”

The Jind-born spinner was supposed to join Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for the 13th season of Indian Premier League, but due to COVID-19 outspread, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) postponed the 2020 edition till mid-April.
