From Yuvraj Singh to Virat Kohli: Cricket fraternity condoles loss of lives in Vizag gas leak incident

Indian cricket fraternity has condoled the death of people in the Visakhapatnam gas leak incident.

“Really unfortunate news of the #VizagGasLeak claiming lives and affecting many others. My deepest condolences to the family members of those deceased and praying for the quick recovery of those affected. Stay strong and safe Vizag,” former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh said in a tweet.

At least six people have died and nearly 100 are hospitalised after a gas leak at a chemical plant in Andhra Pradesh”s Visakhapatnam in the early hours of Thursday.

“My condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the #VizagGasLeak. Praying for everyone affected and recovering in the hospital,” tweeted Team India captain Virat Kohli.

According to media reports, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams have been rushed to the affected areas to assist the local administration in relief operations.
