Jimmy Neesham reveals his all-time favourite delivery, leaves everyone in splits

New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham is widely known for his epic comebacks mixed with humourous tactics on social media. He more often than not tickles fans’ funny bone just by hilarious responses. Now, yet again, Neesham has shown his fantastic sense of humour.

Since lockdown is active in most countries, cricketers are engaging with their fans and admirers on various social media platforms. Cricketers are interacting with their followers and often seen replying to their queries. Neesham did the same but in his own style.

While responding to a question thrown at him on microblogging website Twitter, Neehsam left everyone in splits with his rib-tickling answer. It all happened when a fan asked Neesham to reveal his all-time favourite delivery.

“@JimmyNeesh Your All Time Favorite Delivery??” asked a fan.

Neesham replied to the query and took the name of a delivery which is his favourite. Interestingly, it wasn’t related to cricket. The Auckland-born went for Pizza delivery as his most loved one.

A few days ago, the Kiwi star had revealed how he owned Australian speedster Mitchell Starc when the latter decided to sledge him. While speaking on a chat show, Neesham was asked to describe the funniest sledging incident, to which he recalled the 2015 Australia tour.

Neesham reminisced the final day of the first Test in Brisbane when he came to bat after the loss of the fourth wicket, and Aussie pacer Starc used a clever line to sledge him.

“I came out to bat and Mitchell Starc, who was bowling thunderbolts, came up to me and said, ‘Bit early for a night watchman, isn’t it?” the Otago player had said.

However, Neesham had the last laugh as he came up with a pretty savage response.

“I turned to him and said ‘mate, it’s day five. There’s no night. This is it’,” the 29-year-old had added.
