They say that there are as many as seven people in the world with the same face. The idea of ‘doppelgangers’ became quite popular in the hit sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’ where the characters find their lookalikes eventually through all the seasons of the series.
Indian captain Virat Kohli certainly got to find a few lookalikes of-late. There was an instance in a match where a fan modelled his look and looked like a carbon-copy of Kohli. Thus, leaving him in splits along with his teammates.
However, there are pictures of a Turkish television character which has been doing rounds on social media lately.
The name is Cavit Cetin Guner who is a part of ‘Dirilis: Ertugrul’.
Pakistan fast bowler, Mohammed Amir, recently, got hold of Guner’s image after watching the show and instantly tweeted by saying: ‘Brother is it you.’
The camaraderie between Kohli and Amir was there for everyone to see during the 2016 Asia Cup match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan.
Amir bowled an unplayable spell on his comeback to international cricket after serving his ban period due to the spot-fixing case which unravelled in 2010.
Kohli had to see off a challenging spell, chasing a small total. He spoke highly of Amir’s effort on the green-deck at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
