Indian opener Rohit Sharma and former legend Anil Kumble became the latest participant to complete Yuvraj Singh’s ‘Keep It Up’ Challenge which is currently circulating on social media. The duo, however, brought in their own twists to the challenge.

Rohit took the task to an innovative level by juggling the ball using the handle of his bat. Kumble, on the other hand, didn’t use a bat. He used his wrist to finish the challenge. The Indian vice-captain went on to nominate his teammates Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, and Rishabh Pant. While, Kumble named former teammates Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman along with Kings XI Punjab skipper KL Rahul.

Rohit posted a video on microblogging website Twitter where he vowed to stay at home and requested the people he nominated to also follow the pandemic rules.

“There you go, @YUVSTRONG12! I’m committed to staying at home. I further nominate @ShreyasIyer15, @RishabhPant17 and @ajinkyarahane88 to innovate and commit to staying home,” tweeted the 33-year-old.

Kumble posted a unique video on his Twitter handle where he thanked Harbhajan Singh for nominating him for the challenge.

“Thank you, Bhajji for nominating me. I couldn’t find the bat and the ball, but I found the soft one. So I’ll keep doing this. I’ll stay home, follow the government guidelines strictly. Please do the same. Ill further nominate Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman, and my Kings XI skipper KL Rahul. Stay home. Stay safe!” said Kumble.

Earlier this week, former all-rounder Yuvraj began the ‘Keep It Up’ challenge on social media. He shared a video of himself bouncing the ball with the edge of his bat. The 38-year-old had nominated legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma and veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh to take up the challenge.
