Amid lockdown, cricketers are home-bound, and the action has shifted online. During a recent interaction between Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) mainstay, Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik, and Sunil Narine, the trio treated the viewers with a hilarious conversation.
Captain Karthik played host to the West Indies contingent in the KKR team Russell and Narine, in his show ‘Totally Stumped with DK’.
The three are highly valued entities at the Venky Mysore owned franchise as they were retained by KKR ahead of the mega auctions of IPL 2018.
The banter between the players depicted the camaraderie they have at the KKR camp. Throughout the online interaction, both Russell and Dinesh barbed each other with hilarious jibes.
Karthik now sports a long-bearded look with messy hair and was in clear need of going to the salon. After joining the conversation, Russell instantly poked fun at Karthik for his look and said, “DK what’s wrong with your barber. Your barber dead?”.
To which the latter burst into laughter, tagging himself as Moeen Ali’s brother. When asked about the condition of lockdown in Chennai, Karthik replied by saying that the regulations imposed were strictly essentially-based.
Russell then asked his KKR captain, “u are not allowed to get like razor blades and stuff?”. Narine, on the other hand, quitely chipped in and said, “I like your new look man.You should have this hairstyle for IPL”.
Meanwhile, Karthik constantly barbed at Russell for his erring internet connection. Throughout the conversation, Russell’s visuals kept freezing. Karthik then asked Russell to sell his house and buy a decent dongle.

During the conversation, Karthik also took a subtle dig at Russell for the controversy in the last season of IPL.
Russell went public, disagreeing with the decision of his captain, and wanted to bat up the order and bowl with the new ball.
