Since there is no ongoing cricketing activity due to coronavirus pandemic and many cricketers are trying different things to engage with their fans. Some are naming their best XI featuring cricketers from all around the world while some are coming up with their favourite batsmen/bowlers.

Few cricketers are also active on social media platforms and letting their admirers know about the latest happenings in their life. In the process, star India all-rounder Hardik Pandya posted a picture of him on Instagram, while playing a popular indoor game ‘carrom’.

In the photo, Hardik can be seen playing carrom with his elder brother Krunal Pandya and two more friends.

“Nothing like a great game of carrom with my brothers. Brings back a lot of memories #PandyaBrothers,” the 26-year-old captioned the post.

Hardik’s fans, as usual, flooded the post with heart-warming comments. However, one response which grabbed all the attention came from none other than Virat Kohli. The Indian captain referred to Hardik’s expression and asked whether he is trying to intimidate his brother Krunal.

“Waiting for your turn or trying to intimidate Krunal first? Haath board par aur aankh Krunal par (You have your eyes laid on Krunal even though your hands are on the board).”

Not only Kohli, Hardik’s partner in crime in Mumbai Indians (MI) – the most successful franchise of Indian Premier League (IPL) – Surya Kumar Yadav also replied on the latter’s post.

Known as ‘Sky’, Surya Kumar said: “Bade bhai ye wala shot dekho (Big brother, have a look at this shot).”

Earlier, in a chat with veteran commentator Harsha Bhogle, Hardik had revealed that when he injured himself during the Asia Cup match against Pakistan in 2018, he thought his career was over.

“I genuinely thought that my career was over because I’d never seen anyone being stretchered off. I was knocked out for 10 minutes, after that the pain never went down.

“What happens to me is that my body goes into recovery mode straight away… Asia Cup was anyway going to be my last series before being rested, but then the injury happened,” he had said.
