Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and other cricketers wish Dinesh Karthik on his 35th birthday
Happy Birthday, Dinesh Karthik

Wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik, who so far has appeared in 152 matches for the Indian team, turned 35 on Monday (June 1).

Karthik, who has been one of the match winners for India, is adored for his breath-taking 8-ball 29-run innings against Bangladesh in the final of the 2018 Nidahas Trophy. The Men in Blue were in a precarious state towards the conclusion of the match, needing 34 runs off the final two overs, and Karthik’s valiant knock saved India the blushes.

Team India captain Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma led the chart of the well-wishers of the birthday boy.

“Many happy returns of the day @DineshKarthik. May this year bring you loads of happiness and success,” tweeted Kohli.

Meanwhile, Rohit posted a photo with Karthik from the Indian Premier League (IPL) where the latter leads Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and captioned it as, “Happy birthday DK baba. Thanks for the last-ball six.”
