Twitterati roasts KL Rahul after he shares a picture drinking coffee

Like other cricketers, India star batsman KL Rahul has also been away from the sport for a long time now. While a few Karnataka players have resumed outdoor training, Rahul is yet to return to action as the BCCI hasn’t taken a final call regarding it.

During his time away from cricket, KL has been quite active on social media. He often uploads his pictures and videos on various platforms and has also interacted with his fans and teammates on a couple of occasions.

Recently, the 28-year-old took to Twitter to upload a picture of him drinking coffee. Twitterati couldn’t keep calm and made some humorous comments on his post.

Here is how Twitterati reacted to Rahul’s post:

In 2019, KL Rahul featured in the celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan, hosted by Karan Johar. There he went along with Hardik Pandya, who made comments, which were deemed sexist and misogynistic. The words sparked outrage, and the BCCI handed the duo with temporary suspensions. To their good luck, they made a comeback and played the ODI World Cup in England and Wales.

In January this year, Rahul was given extra responsibility to keep wickets. He has done an exceptional job so far and looks set to keep the gloves in white-ball cricket. KL has been given the finishing job in ODIs while he is likely to keep the opening spot in the shortest format.
