Former Australian captain Michael Clarke who recently agreed to a financial arrangement with estranged wife Kyly Clarke, has confirmed his relationship with fashion designer Pip Edwards.
Just four months post-divorce, Clarke has been seen in the company of fashion designer Pip Edwards.
“The newly-separated cricket star confirmed his relationship with P.E Nation activewear co-founder Edwards to a well-placed source,” the New Sydney Herald quoted earlier.
During a recent chat with a journalist on radio show Big Sports Breakfast, Clarke was asked about his ‘female company’.
“You know what? I did the right thing by him, I didn’t mention your female company at the table,” the journalist quipped.
“Why not? Listen buddy, you can always mention my female company. How dare you leave that out.” To add to this, Pip Edwards’ recent Instagram post has also attracted the fans’ attention. She had captioned one of her pictures as, “Me in my boyfriend’s blazer,” Clarke replied.
Supposedly, the two were keeping mum about their relationship for the sake of their children. Clarke and Kyly have a four-year-old daughter named Kelsey Lee.
Earlier, the former couple made the separation public with their statement which read, “After living apart for some time, we have made the difficult decision to separate as a couple, amicably. With the greatest of respect for each other, we’ve come to the mutual conclusion that this is the best course for us to take while committed to the co-parenting of our daughter.”
After a successful career as a world cup winning Australian captain, Clarke enjoys his stint as a popular commentator and analyst. Clarke has played as many as 115 Tests and 245 one-day internationals representing Australia and has amassed 17,000 runs at the international level.
