Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are undoubtedly one of the most popular and loved couples in the country. They met in 2013 on the sets of a TVC shoot, became good friends, and the rest is history. The couple dated for almost four years before getting married in a dreamy private affair in Italy.
They have been married for close to three years now and lead hectic lives. Virat, as the captain of the Indian cricket team, is away on tournament while Anushka is busy with acting and producing films. In a recent interview, Anushka opened up about their busy schedule.
In an interview with Vogue, Anushka revealed that her envious picture-perfect holiday ‘grams are far from reality. “People assume when I’m visiting Virat or when he is visiting me that it’s a holiday, but it’s really not. One person is always working. In fact, during the first six months of our marriage, we spent 21 days together. Yes, I actually calculated. So when I visit him overseas, it’s to squeeze in that one meal together. It’s a precious time for us.”
Currently, Virat and Anushka, lovingly called ‘Virushka’ by their fans, are enjoying quality time together during the lockdown. They have been playing boards games, working out and clicking each other’s photos.
In the Vogue interview, Virat also opened up about their relationship. “We live each day loving one another. Our relationship has always been about love and only love. We feel like we have known each other for ages, not just a few years,” the Delhi-born cricketer said.
Virat was set to lead the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), but due to the outbreak of deadly coronavirus (COVID-19), the IPL Governing Council was forced to postpone the world’s biggest T20 tournament for an indefinite period.
Anushka, meanwhile, has released two web-series recently as a producer. She earned much praise for Paatal Lok that was released on Amazon Prime and Bulbbul which is being premiered on Netflix.
