International cricket has already been resumed this week as West Indies and England locked their horns at Southampton in the first Test of the three-match series. India’s neighbouring nation Pakistan is next in the queue to restart their activity as they will play both Test and T20 series against England.
However, there’s no official confirmation about when the Indian team is going to recommence their journey. Considering the worsening situation of COVD-19 cases in India, it looks like the long wait for fans and cricketers will continue.

Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar did a Q&A session on Twitter on Sunday (July 12), where he answered a lot of questions related both to his personal and professional life.
One that stands out was Kumar’s witty response when a user asked him to describe his wife Nupur in a few words.

Kumar also put forth his opinion on how the saliva ban is going to affect the bowlers.
“Sweat is not possible everywhere in the world, definitely it’s going to be challenging. Hope things get better soon as they were,” tweeted Bhuvneshwar in reply.

“I hope the ICC comes up with some artificial way by which we can shine the ball. You need to do it when you bowl in swinging conditions in (places like) England. Even the spinners need it,” Kumar had earlier said in a webinar.
The 30-year-old has appeared in 21 Tests, 114 ODIs and 43 T20I for India. He also revealed winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2016 with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) as his favourite moment in a cricketing career.
